RATES

I charge 3.5 cents per square inch for most designs.  Dense designs are 4.0 cents per square inch.

Custom quilting and design services are $30 per hour.

​

I can install your pre-made binding onto the front of your quilt at 10 cents per linear inch.  

​

There is a nominal thread charge of 1-2 cents per yard and a nominal bobbin charge of $1-2 / each.

​

I sell Quilter's Dream 70/30 batting by the yard (35 cents per inch).

Packaged batting and specialty battings such as bleached 80/20 blend, wool, 100% cotton, black batting, bamboo, silk and polyester are also available.
 

My minimum quilting charge is $100. This means that a small baby quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $100 minimum.  

There is no thread charge on small quilts.

If I can use a piece of leftover batting for your small quilt, there is no charge for it.

New York State Sales Tax at 8% is added to service, supply and shipping costs.

Shipping Your Quilt

Shipping your top and backing to me: I live in upstate New York, USA, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I recommend sending your materials enclosed in a sturdy plastic bag and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.   You can ship to me via USPS, UPS or Fedex.  Please contact me for the correct address.
 

Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage while with the Postal Service, but I don't require it.

Payment

After the work is complete, I will invoice you via email. I really do appreciate timely payments as that enables me to mail your project(s) back to you right away.  I accept personal checks, Venmo, credit cards and cash.

There is a courtesy fee of 3% added to credit card payments.
